FEBRUARY
From 14 to 15 , pray for the efforts
that the three Urban Transformation Centres in Mexico City are doing
in the communities where they work to put into question St. Valentin's
Day as a trivialization and mercantilization of love into a Bible
based perspective of true love and "love your neighbor as yourself"
emphasis.
From 15 to 20, pray for Saul's visit to
Yalalg and to the Armonia Student Hostel with the good news that Willow
Creek PCA in Orlando, Florida have raised and donated the
neccesary funding for each children of the hostel to have a bed! Praise
the Lord! Pray that Saul will find the best deal for transportation
of the beds, too!
Saul will also be developing an equipping course
for the Yalalag staff and will overviewing some of the local programs
and administrative procedures
From 20 to 21, pray
for Brian from Willow Creek PCA Church in Orlando Florida is
visiting us to determine all the renovating work that the new "Casa
Blanca " needs to be fully functional as an income generation
programme. We already have some more of 11 thousand us dollars
to do the work but we need the same amount to furnish it and make
it a real local income generating scheme. Please pray for generous
donors who will have the vision to help the locals to to make
Armonia fully going from dependency to an interdependent position. Also pray for Brian's tripp and for the group that they are assembling
to start doing the work. Pray for more groups to come and become
the finishing teams!
From 23 to 29, pray for Saul's trip to the UK to participate
as facilitator of the Armonia UK Trust and Development group meetings
to be held in Manchester from 27 to 28. Pray that this will be an
extraordinary opportunity to re-encounrage each other in the importance
of this ministry among the poor. Pray that the Lord brings to the
meetings those which need to be there. Pray that this will be a wonderful
time of planning Armonia UK fundraising and Volunteer strategies and
also Saul and Pilar's UK Tour for next March.
On
28 and 29, pray for Saul's engagements: Saturday, 28,
presentation of Armonia's update at Saint Mary's Magdalene, Sale,
Manchester: Armonia Evening. On Sunday, 29, Sale west Community Church,
Morning Service and Saint Mary's Magdalene, Sale, Evening Service.
